Emily Jones, one of five students portrayed in the documentary Waiting for Superman, tells blogger John Fensterwald of the web site TOP-Ed why she entered the lottery for Summit Prep Charter High in Redwood City, instead of attending Woodside High. Emily feared being tracked into non-challenging, non-college bound courses at Woodside because she doesn't test well. At Summit, she takes AP and A-G courses.
